Karin Carlander is a Danish textile artist who reinterprets traditional Nordic crafts to create functional textiles for daily life. Her “TEXTILE No.” collection, which includes tea towels, bath towels, and bathrobes, is founded on the belief that everyday objects should be both beautiful and durable.

Every design in the collection begins as a unique, hand-woven artwork on her studio looms in Copenhagen. These artistic origins are then transformed to daily objects by a skilled and local workforce in Europe.

All TEXTILE No. creations is made from 100% natural linen - from flax grown and retted in specific European area and watered entirely by rainfall.

Karin carries the Masters of Linen® certification, which is awarded to carefully chosen farmers, spinners, weavers and knitters who have committed to working with 100 % European produced linen, traceable in every step from the sown seed to the final fabric.
